Dr. Abumoussa has special interest in minimally invasive spine surgery, robotic spine surgery, vascular neurosurgery, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Dr. Abumoussa practices a patient-first, family-centered approach to medicine. He is committed to improving the patient experience through empathy, education, and innovation. He believes in meeting each person where they are—taking time to explain diagnoses, involve families in care planning, and ensuring that every patient feels heard and supported. Whether a patient’s health condition is straightforward or complex, Dr. Abumoussa strives to ensure they feel confident in the path forward. He attempts safe, minimally invasive techniques when possible, and collaborates closely with other specialists to provide complete, coordinated care. When not caring for patients, Dr. Abumoussa enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, traveling, and learning to play the piano as a family.
